Jed York, Co-owner of Leeds and Rangers, Sentenced for Soliciting Prostitution

Jed York, co-owner of Leeds United and Rangers, has been sentenced to jail in Ohio following his arrest for soliciting prostitution.

The 46-year-old, who also owns the San Francisco 49ers, pleaded no contest to two charges, leading to a conviction for disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools. He received a one-day jail sentence for each charge, to be served concurrently, and was fined $150 for disorderly conduct and $1,000 for possessing criminal tools.

The charges stemmed from an incident where York arranged to pay $140 for sexual activity. The East Palestine Police Department initiated the case, which was filed in Columbiana County Municipal Court. An expungement request related to the case was denied on the same day it was filed. Both Rangers and Leeds have opted not to comment on the situation, while the NFL stated it would review the matter under its personal conduct policy.
