Jed York, the owner of the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested in Ohio after allegedly reaching out to a prostitution advertisement on multiple occasions. This incident culminated in a no-contest plea to misdemeanor charges, resulting in a two-day jail sentence and a $1,150 fine.

According to reports, York used the alias 'Joe' while messaging a woman from a dummy ad. His first contact occurred on Saturday, where he inquired about her availability. After not receiving a response, he followed up on Sunday morning, confirming he was en route to meet her and asking for the cost of the service.

York was arrested shortly after arriving at the location, carrying $160 in cash. The NFL is currently reviewing the situation under its Personal Conduct Policy, with league owners scheduled to meet in Atlanta soon.
