Jeffery Simmons Prepares for Prime Time Debut with Bears

Jeffery Simmons, who was traded from the Titans to the Bears this week, is gearing up for his first prime time game with his new team against the Seahawks on Monday night. Following this matchup, he will also compete in a Sunday night game against the Buccaneers.

This transition to the Bears represents a notable shift for Simmons, who has not participated in a prime time game since 2023. The Titans, his former team, have not had any prime time games scheduled this year or last, and Simmons missed the only one they had in 2024 due to an injury.

Simmons expressed his enthusiasm about playing in prime time, highlighting the significance of such games for NFL players. He noted that being in a marquee matchup is a dream for many, especially given the Bears' recent success and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful games.
