Jeremiah Smith, a wide receiver from Ohio State, has become the leading candidate to be the first overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, currently holding +300 odds. This shift follows his impressive performance where he caught four passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns during a recent victory against Maryland.
Previously, Texas quarterback Arch Manning was the favorite but fell to second place with +350 odds after a challenging game against Oklahoma. Following Manning in the betting odds is Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr at +380, who had a strong showing with three touchdowns in a win over Stanford.
Other contenders include Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss at +600, Oklahoma State's Drew Mestemaker at +650, Miami's Darian Mensah at +750, and Oregon's Dante Moore at +1200.
