Jeremiyah Love Impresses in Preseason Debut for Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals' rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, chosen third overall in the April draft, made a notable impression during his first preseason game on Thursday night.
In the first half, Love recorded 11 rushing attempts for 58 yards and caught three passes for 15 yards. His performance included a highlight moment where he hurdled over Raiders cornerback Greedy Vance. At halftime, the Cardinals were leading 21-14, and they extended their lead to 24-14 in the third quarter.
Quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew contributed to the team's success, completing all 15 of their passes for a total of 123 yards and three touchdowns, with Minshew finally throwing an incompletion in the third quarter.
