Jeremiyah Love Out for Cardinals' Game Against Rams Due to Ankle Injury
Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love will not participate in the Arizona Cardinals' game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday due to a persistent left ankle injury.
Love, who was the No. 3 overall pick from Notre Dame, has not practiced throughout the week and was officially ruled out in the injury report released on Friday. Coach Mike LaFleur noted that there are no current plans for injured reserve, emphasizing the need for daily evaluations of Love's condition.
In the first five weeks of the season, Love has contributed significantly to the Cardinals' offense, leading the team with 245 rushing yards and one touchdown, along with 11 receptions for 36 yards and another touchdown. The Cardinals, currently with a record of 1-4, are facing the Rams while on a four-game losing streak and have not won against NFC West teams in their last eight encounters.
