Jeremiyah Love Ruled Out for Cardinals' Game Against Rams
The Arizona Cardinals will be missing rookie running back Jeremiyah Love for their Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury. Head coach Mike LaFleur confirmed that Love has been ruled out for the matchup on Sunday.
Love's injury, which he sustained in Week 4, has reportedly worsened over the week. Despite this setback, he is not expected to be placed on injured reserve. This season, Love has struggled with his performance, averaging 3.7 yards per carry and totaling one rushing touchdown, along with 11 receptions for 36 yards and another touchdown.
In Love's absence, Tyler Allgeier will take on the primary running back role. Allgeier has recorded 35 carries for 119 yards and one touchdown this season, along with 12 catches for 44 yards, making him the leading option in the backfield until Love can return.
