Jeremiyah Love to Miss at Least a Week Due to Ankle Injury
Jeremiyah Love, a rookie running back for the Arizona Cardinals, is expected to be out for at least a week due to an ankle injury. Head coach Mike LaFleur provided this update on Saturday morning, indicating that the injury is more serious than initially thought.
Love had the opportunity to return to the preseason game against the Raiders after sustaining the injury, but his condition has worsened, leading to his absence from the upcoming game against the Cowboys. LaFleur mentioned that Love's ankle is currently quite sore and did not provide a timeline for his return, stating that the team will reassess his status before the third preseason game.
In Love's absence, the Cardinals will rely on other running backs, including Tyler Allgeier, James Connor, Trey Benson, Bam Knight, Evan Hull, and Corey Kiner.
