Reports indicate that the injury is likely to sideline Love for the remainder of the preseason. While the Cardinals remain hopeful for his return by Week 1, high-ankle sprains can be challenging to recover from quickly, raising questions about whether the team will rush him back into action.

In the preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Love had 14 touches, including 11 carries for 58 yards and three receptions for 14 yards. He did not participate in the Hall of Fame Game earlier this month.
