Jeremiyah Love's Preseason Debut Highlights Performance Despite Ankle Injury
In his preseason debut, Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love showcased his skills with 14 touches during the first half of Thursday's game against the Raiders.
Although Love sustained an ankle injury, head coach Mike LaFleur reported that the player is doing well and could have returned to the game if necessary. LaFleur mentioned that Love is expected to practice this week, but they will monitor his condition day by day.
LaFleur expressed satisfaction with Love's performance, noting the plan was to give him double-digit touches, which he achieved. He emphasized the advantages of having a running back capable of running routes, as it creates favorable matchups in the passing game. The Cardinals will face the Cowboys in their next preseason game on Saturday.
