Jeremy Cameron Reveals He Played 2026 Season with a Broken Arm
Geelong's Jeremy Cameron has disclosed that he played the 2026 season with a broken arm, a result of an injury sustained during the 2025 Grand Final that did not heal properly.
Despite the injury, Cameron participated in 19 games and scored 41 goals, often seen with heavy strapping on his arm. He is set to play his 300th game in the upcoming season opener against Sydney and is close to surpassing the 800-goal mark, currently standing at 777 goals.
Cameron shared details about his injury on SEN's The Run Home, explaining that a plate was the only thing keeping his arm stable. He opted not to undergo surgery initially, believing he could still contribute to his team. He is now recovering from a recent operation that involved a bone graft from his hip to aid in healing. Additionally, Cameron's friend Toby Greene has joined him in Geelong, enhancing the club's appeal to players with its successful culture and lifestyle.
