Jeremy Sochan Signs One-Year Contract with Portland Trail Blazers
Jeremy Sochan has signed a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, as reported by ESPN.
Sochan, who was selected ninth overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs, played three seasons with the team, averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over 212 games. He was waived by the Spurs in February and briefly joined the New York Knicks, where he appeared in 16 regular season games.
During his time with the Knicks, Sochan averaged 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in limited minutes. He also participated in eight postseason games, contributing to the team's championship run. With the Blazers, Sochan aims to secure a more significant role alongside a strong backcourt that includes notable players like Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday.
