Jermaine Pennant Suffers Severe Injuries from Dog Attack
Jermaine Pennant, a former Premier League footballer, sustained over 50 stitches following a dog attack in north London last week. The incident occurred while he was walking his two dogs when a German Shepherd attacked him.
Pennant reported that the dog bit his leg and would not release its grip as he attempted to protect his dog, King. Fortunately, King intervened and helped fend off the attacking dog, which prevented further injury. Pennant received treatment for four bite wounds at a hospital, while King emerged with only minor injuries.
Despite the severity of the attack, Pennant chose not to report the incident to the police. He shared an image on Instagram showing his bandaged leg alongside King, expressing gratitude for his partner Mimmi Montgomery's support during the recovery.
