Jerry Jones Open to Future Collaboration with Mark Cuban as Cowboys Co-Owner

Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, operates the team as a family business, involving his children in key roles. Recently, he addressed the possibility of Mark Cuban, the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks, becoming a minority owner of the Cowboys.

While Jones stated that the Cowboys are not looking for additional investors at this time, he acknowledged his respect for Cuban and his contributions to basketball. The NFL has recently approved private equity minority ownership stakes across its franchises, but the Cowboys have not pursued this option yet.

Jones, who is 83 years old, is unlikely to seek new partners while he is still involved. His son, Stephen Jones, mentioned that while they are not actively pursuing minority ownership, they would consider it in the future, emphasizing the importance of choosing the right partner.
