Jerry Jones Receives Praise for Key Offseason Moves with Cowboys
Jerry Jones has garnered positive attention for his recent decisions regarding the Dallas Cowboys' roster during the offseason. This year, he made notable changes aimed at strengthening the team's lineup.
Analyst Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report highlighted two of these moves, awarding them both an 'A' grade. The Cowboys signed outside linebacker Von Miller to a one-year deal worth $5.5 million, which Gagnon described as a low-risk investment in a veteran who had nine sacks last season. Additionally, safety Jalen Thompson was acquired on a three-year contract valued at $33 million, with $22 million guaranteed, which Gagnon noted could enhance Thompson's performance in Dallas.
These two signings reflect a proactive approach by Jones, marking a positive start to the upcoming season for the Cowboys.
