Jerry Jones Reflects on Micah Parsons Trade Impact

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently commented on the trade of star pass-rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, which occurred last summer. The Cowboys received two first-round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark in exchange for Parsons.

During a press conference, Jones expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the trade, noting that it has allowed the team to enhance its defense. He acknowledged Parsons' talent but emphasized that the trade was beneficial for the Cowboys, enabling them to acquire key players like defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and linebacker Logan Wilson.

Parsons, who signed a four-year, $188 million contract with the Packers, recorded 12.5 sacks before suffering a season-ending injury. He is currently on the physically unable to perform list and aims to return for a game against the Cowboys on October 18, 2026.
