Jersey Bulls Women suffered their inaugural league defeat, losing 3-0 to Sutton United Under 23s in the Surrey Premier Division of the South East Counties Women's Football League.

Previously unbeaten, the Bulls had a perfect record last season, winning the Surrey Division One title in their first year in the English football pyramid. However, they struggled in their new league, marking their second consecutive loss after a defeat in the FA Cup the previous week.

The match began with a scoreless first half, but Sutton took the lead shortly after the break when Rachel Marlow redirected a free kick. Neriyah Anderson-Bailey then extended the lead with a goal from the edge of the box following a corner, and Maya Anderson sealed the victory for the hosts. Jersey Bulls are set to face Oxted and District next week, who have yet to secure a win in their opening games.
