Jesse Love Plans Spiritual Reset Ahead of Cup Series Season
NASCAR driver Jesse Love is gearing up for the next Cup Series season as he transitions to a full-time role with Wood Brothers Racing, taking over the No. 21 Ford. Before this new chapter, he aims to secure his second consecutive O’Reilly Series championship, starting with a unique approach to mental preparation.
Following a disappointing season where he has yet to win in 23 races, Love plans to travel to Asia for a holistic cleanse to reset his mental state. This decision comes after a series of poor finishes, including a 20th place at the Winn-Dixie 250 in Daytona. Love has expressed the need to regain his momentum, especially after finishing 26th in Atlanta and 35th in Iowa.
Despite his struggles, Love remains confident in his abilities, noting that he has been faster this year compared to his championship-winning season in 2025. He acknowledges that speed alone does not guarantee success, as luck has not favored him in several races. With a championship title to defend and a new season on the horizon, Love's upcoming weeks are crucial for his career.
