Pegula pointed out the global nature of tennis as a strength, mentioning the diverse fan bases and players from around the world. She highlighted the representation of Black players and the rise of tennis in Asia, citing players like Alex Eala and Zheng Qinwen as examples of emerging talent.

Tiafoe noted the historical significance of being the first Black players to compete against each other in an ATP 1000 tournament final at the Cincinnati Open. Despite acknowledging the positive changes, he stressed that financial barriers remain a significant challenge for young players aspiring to enter the sport.
