Jets Add Tight End Connor Hulstein and Defensive Lineman Patrick Jenkins
The New York Jets made changes to their roster on Wednesday by signing tight end Connor Hulstein and defensive lineman Patrick Jenkins.
In conjunction with these signings, the team waived safety Keidron Smith and defensive lineman Eric Watts, the latter of whom was released with an injury designation, meaning he will move to injured reserve if not claimed by another team.
Hulstein previously participated in a tryout during the Jets' rookie minicamp and had a notable college season at Marist, recording 42 receptions for 599 yards and seven touchdowns. Jenkins contributed 22 tackles, six tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in 10 games for Columbus in the UFL this spring, having played at TCU and Tulane in college.
