Jets Aware of Jeanty's Tackling Comments
The New York Jets have taken note of remarks made by Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty, who criticized their tackling efforts. This acknowledgment came a day after Jeanty's comments were made public.
Jets defensive coordinator Brian Duker confirmed he heard Jeanty's statements and expressed confidence in his team's tackling abilities. He indicated that he believes his players are aware of the comments. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick also commented, stating he was not surprised by Jeanty's remarks and emphasized his commitment to giving full effort regardless of external opinions.
The Raiders, who started the season strong with a 3-0 record, have since lost four consecutive games, facing pressure as the NFL trade deadline approaches. Jeanty has been a key player for the Raiders, leading the team in rushing yards and contributing significantly in the passing game. Meanwhile, the Jets' run defense has struggled, currently ranking 24th in the league.
