Jets Cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers Enters Concussion Protocol

Qwan’tez Stiggers, a cornerback for the New York Jets, has been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol following an incident during a joint practice on Tuesday where he lost consciousness.

After collapsing on the sideline, Stiggers was taken to a local hospital by ambulance but was later released after evaluation. Coach Aaron Glenn reported that Stiggers is now at home resting and recovering, and he has been in communication with both Stiggers and his wife, who is caring for him.

Stiggers, who is 24 years old, was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft after previously playing one season with the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL. He has participated in 29 games for the Jets, contributing significantly on special teams and defense.
