Jets Cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers Hospitalized After Fainting at Practice

Qwan’tez Stiggers, a cornerback for the Jets, was taken to a hospital after losing consciousness during a joint practice with the Buccaneers. He was conscious and talking before being transported.

Jets cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers was taken to a local hospital after fainting during a joint practice with the Buccaneers.

Following the incident, which halted practice for 10 minutes, Jets coach Aaron Glenn reported that Stiggers was conscious and able to communicate on the field. He received an IV before being transported by stretcher to an ambulance.

Stiggers, who is 24 years old, was drafted by the Jets in 2024 as a fifth-round pick after a season with the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL. He has participated in 29 games for the Jets, contributing significantly on special teams and defense.
