Jets' David Bailey Doubtful for Sunday Match Against Raiders
David Bailey, a rookie edge rusher for the New York Jets, is doubtful for the game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday due to a groin injury. This injury could leave the Jets' defense without their leading sack artist.
Coach Aaron Glenn confirmed that Bailey will not practice for the third consecutive day and will be a game-time decision. He was not present during the warmup period open to reporters, indicating his unavailability.
In addition to Bailey, the Jets will also be missing defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat and edge rusher Joseph Ossai, both ruled out due to injuries. With Bailey likely sidelined, Nate Lynn is expected to take on a larger role in the pass-rushing rotation. The Jets are looking to end a two-game losing streak against the Raiders, who have lost four straight games.
