Jets RB Isaiah Davis to Miss Several Weeks Due to Knee Injury
Isaiah Davis, the running back for the New York Jets, is set to miss a few weeks due to a knee injury, as announced by coach Aaron Glenn on Thursday.
While the specifics of the injury were not detailed, Glenn indicated that it is not serious. He mentioned that Davis is expected to return in time for the regular season, which begins for the Jets on September 13 against Tennessee.
Davis, 24, is entering his third season in the NFL after being drafted in the fifth round. Last season, he achieved career highs with 236 rushing yards and 21 receptions over 16 games, although he missed the final game due to a concussion. In his two seasons, he has accumulated 410 rushing yards and a touchdown, along with 30 receptions for 261 yards and another score.
