Jim Harbaugh Evaluates Coaching Changes for Chargers After 0-6 Start
After the Los Angeles Chargers' recent 22-6 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Jim Harbaugh indicated that he might consider changes to the coaching staff during the team's bye week. The loss left the Chargers with a record of 0-6.
Harbaugh did not provide a definitive endorsement for first-year offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel when asked about his future. Instead, he mentioned that the team is reviewing all aspects of their performance, particularly their offensive struggles, which include ranking 26th in the NFL for yards per game and 30th for points scored.
Reports suggest that Harbaugh may be contemplating replacing McDaniel with Adam Gase, a former head coach with experience in the league. The Chargers are set to face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on November 1, following their bye week.
