Jinder Mahal Discusses Indian Representation in WWE

Jinder Mahal, an Indian-Canadian pro-wrestler and former WWE Champion, has commented on the absence of Indian representation in WWE, despite the significant market potential. Mahal, who held the championship for nearly 170 days in 2017, noted that WWE has not fully utilized this opportunity.

In a recent interview, Mahal explained that while he is surprised by the lack of representation, he believes that aspiring wrestlers must reach a competitive level to match established stars like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. He pointed out that the necessary infrastructure for talent development in India is still lacking, but he is optimistic about future improvements.

Mahal highlighted the presence of promising talent in India, mentioning a wrestler named Kevin Malik, who he believes has great potential. He encouraged fans to explore Malik's matches available on YouTube, asserting that while India has talented wrestlers, they currently lack the proper platform to showcase their skills. Mahal is now active in the independent wrestling circuit after leaving WWE in 2024.
