Jiri Prochazka Claims UFC Fight Offer Against Paulo Costa
Jiri Prochazka has indicated that the UFC has extended a fight offer for him to face Paulo Costa, potentially for an interim title in the light heavyweight division. This comes after Carlos Ulberg, who defeated Prochazka at UFC 327, suffered a torn ACL and will be sidelined for the remainder of 2026.
Prochazka's message to Costa was shared on his Instagram Stories, where he urged Costa not to mention him unless he is willing to accept the fight scheduled for October or November. However, Costa has publicly denied receiving any such offer from the UFC, asserting that no one has discussed Prochazka's name with him.
Since losing the title in 2022, Prochazka has attempted to reclaim the light heavyweight championship but has faced setbacks against Alex Pereira and Ulberg.
