Jiri Prochazka Denies Fight Rumors with Paulo Costa
Jiri Prochazka, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, has rejected rumors regarding a confirmed fight, specifically against Paulo Costa. Prochazka, who lost his title to Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327 in April, addressed the speculation on Instagram.
He clarified that while he is in negotiations, he is not ready to finalize any match and emphasized the importance of thorough preparation before returning to the octagon. Prochazka advised fans to be cautious about believing unverified information circulating online.
Currently, Ulberg has not defended his title due to an injury sustained during their fight, which may allow Prochazka to return to competition sooner. UFC 332, scheduled for October 3 in Salt Lake City, is still without a main event, but Prochazka did not provide a specific timeline for his comeback.
