J.K. Dobbins Commits to Broncos, Praises Coach Sean Payton
J.K. Dobbins has re-signed with the Denver Broncos on a two-year contract after initially joining the team on a one-year deal last year. Despite receiving a strong offer from the Jaguars, Dobbins chose to remain in Denver, attributing his decision to head coach Sean Payton.
Last season, Dobbins rushed for 772 yards in 10 games before suffering a season-ending foot injury. He expressed that Payton is the best coach he has ever played for, emphasizing the supportive environment he feels within the organization. Dobbins has previously played under coaches John Harbaugh and Jim Harbaugh in the NFL, as well as Urban Meyer and Ryan Day at Ohio State.
Payton has expressed confidence in Dobbins' abilities, noting his significant contribution to the team's success last season. He highlighted Dobbins' impact when healthy and expressed optimism for his performance in the upcoming season.
