Joe Biden's Prostate Cancer Has Spread, Son Reports

Former U.S. President Joe Biden is experiencing severe pain as his prostate cancer has spread beyond his bones, according to his son, Hunter Biden, in a recent BBC interview.

Hunter Biden stated that the cancer has metastasized and is debilitating. A spokesperson for the 83-year-old Biden did not provide comments regarding the interview. Biden had previously announced his diagnosis of an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025, shortly after leaving office, indicating that it had already spread to his bones.

In October, a spokesperson confirmed that Biden was receiving radiation treatment and hormone therapy. Biden, who became the oldest person to win the U.S. presidency in 2020, faced scrutiny over his health during his presidency from 2021 to 2025. He recently attended the dedication of Barack Obama's presidential library in June and is set to release his memoir on November 17.
