Joe Bryan Retires from Football at Age 32

Joe Bryan, a former defender for Bristol City and Fulham, has officially retired from football at the age of 32. He made his senior debut in March 2012 and accumulated 464 career appearances across six clubs, including 44 matches in the Premier League with Fulham.

During his career, Bryan scored 32 goals, notably contributing two in the 2020 Championship play-off final. He was released by Millwall this summer and has decided to retire, expressing contentment with his decision to transition into a new phase of life.

Bryan began his career at Bristol City, where he made 230 appearances, and had loan spells at Bath City and Plymouth Argyle. He played a significant role in Bristol City's journey to the semi-finals of the League Cup in the 2017-18 season. After a five-year stint at Fulham, which included two relegations, he had a loan period in France with Nice before joining Millwall in 2023.
