Joe Burrow Shows Aggressive Demeanor in Bengals Training Camp
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is approaching the 2026 season with a noticeably aggressive demeanor, as observed during training camp. Teammate Ja'Marr Chase noted that Burrow appears more intense and focused, which he finds encouraging.
Chase referred to Burrow as 'Mean Joe' and highlighted the quarterback's fiercer attitude, stating that he has shown a more aggressive demeanor both in his expressions and communication. This shift comes after the Bengals have struggled in recent seasons, missing the postseason for three consecutive years due to Burrow's injuries.
Burrow previously led the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance in 2021, but the team has faced challenges since then, including a disappointing 6-11 record last season. With the pressure mounting on head coach Zac Taylor, the Bengals have made roster changes, including acquiring defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence. The team will begin its preseason against the Lions and will kick off the regular season at home against the Buccaneers on September 13.
