Joe Dean Claims British Masters Title with Impressive Final Round
Joe Dean achieved his first DP World Tour title at the British Masters held at The Belfry, finishing with an impressive nine-under-par 63. The 32-year-old golfer, who previously worked as a supermarket delivery driver, came from seven shots behind to win the tournament.
Dean's final round included four birdies in the first six holes and five more on the back nine, culminating in a total score of 14 under par. He won by three strokes over four competitors, including 2023 champion Dan Hillier, who finished at 11 under.
The tournament faced disruptions due to stormy weather, resulting in over nine hours of lost play earlier in the week. Dean's victory comes after a busy summer, which included winning a qualifier for the Open Championship and marrying his wife Emily, who supported him during the event.
