Joe Fraser Secures Bronze at World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
Joe Fraser from Great Britain achieved a bronze medal in the all-around final at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Rotterdam. This victory came after a disappointing team final earlier in the week.
The 27-year-old gymnast scored 83.531 across six disciplines, making him the third British male to earn a world all-around medal, following Dan Keatings and Max Whitlock. Japan's Daiki Hashimoto won gold with a score of 85.988, while China's Haonan Yang secured silver with 84.199.
Jake Jarman, Fraser's teammate, finished in sixth place with a score of 82.865, marking the best combined result for British men in the all-around event at these championships. Fraser celebrated his win with a gesture dedicated to his pregnant girlfriend. Despite the team's fourth-place finish in the men's event, which denied them a spot at the 2028 Olympics, they remain optimistic about future competitions.
