Before Ava Raine became the general manager of WWE NXT and left the promotion, she was part of Schism alongside Gacy. In a recent conversation, Gacy mentioned that he and Raine had brainstormed various ideas for their group, even before they were officially paired together. He expressed enthusiasm about Raine's potential contributions to the faction.

Gacy noted that Raine had a strong interest in portraying a character inspired by the film Pearl, and he envisioned her as a key enforcer within Schism. He believed that her character could have added depth to the group dynamic, particularly in guiding followers. Raine was part of Schism from 2022 until 2023, after which she transitioned to her role as general manager.
