Joe Gacy Discusses Signs Leading to Wyatt Sicks' WWE Release
Joe Gacy recently shared insights regarding the signs that hinted at the release of the Wyatt Sicks from WWE. The group was let go as part of the talent cuts following WrestleMania 42 in April 2026, and they have since become free agents after their non-compete period ended.
During an appearance on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast, Gacy noted that one of the early indicators was WWE's decision to cut a promo segment featuring the Wyatt Sicks from SmackDown just before WrestleMania 42. Although the segment had received positive feedback from the writers, it was ultimately not aired on television.
Additionally, Gacy revealed that the Wyatt Sicks were scheduled to appear at a comedy show hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe but were replaced by The Undertaker, who performed a choke slam at the event. Gacy felt this change, along with the decision to have MFT defeat the Wyatt Sicks in a match, contributed to a sense that their time with WWE was coming to an end.
