Joe Gacy Discusses WWE Release Atmosphere

Joe Gacy, a former WWE star, recently discussed the circumstances surrounding the release of several members of the Wyatt Sicks, including himself, Dexter Lumis, Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross. This group was cut from the WWE roster in April, a decision that Gacy noted was not entirely unexpected.

Gacy mentioned that changes to their plans during WrestleMania week and a decisive loss to the MFTs on the SmackDown prior to WrestleMania were early indicators of trouble. He recalled a specific incident where their scheduled appearance in Fort Worth was canceled, leading to the cancellation of travel arrangements, which further hinted at their uncertain status.

Despite the signs, Gacy expressed surprise at the complete release of the group, stating that he and his colleagues were taken aback by the decision, especially regarding the release of Taylor, whom they expected to remain with the company.
