Joe Gacy Reflects on the Decline of Wyatt Sicks in WWE
Joe Gacy has provided his perspective on what he believes marked the decline of the Wyatt Sicks in WWE. He attributes this downturn to the insufficient individual character development of the group members, which hindered their connection with the audience.
Gacy explained that while Bo Dallas, also known as Taylor Rotunda, received significant attention as the leader, the other members did not have enough opportunities to showcase their characters. He noted that although he filmed a promo, it was not utilized, limiting his ability to engage with fans.
He also mentioned that Dallas' health issues led to a pause in their creative direction, which further stalled the group's progress. Gacy believes that if the members had been allowed to develop their personas during Dallas' absence, they could have maintained momentum and created a stronger presence within the group. All members of Wyatt Sicks were released by WWE in April, and Gacy made his return to wrestling in July after the completion of a no-compete clause.
