Joe Rodon to Miss 8 to 10 Weeks Due to Hamstring Injury
Leeds United defender Joe Rodon is expected to be out for eight to ten weeks due to a serious hamstring injury. The 28-year-old was injured during the first half of the team's 1-1 draw against Brentford last Sunday.
Rodon had previously participated in the season opener against Nottingham Forest and a Carabao Cup match against the same team. Leeds manager Daniel Farke confirmed the injury, stating that Rodon will not return before the next international break, which poses a challenge for the team.
Farke noted that Rodon's absence is a significant loss, emphasizing the need for additional defensive options. Leeds recently signed Melvin Bard to bolster their left-back position, while James Justin may need to step in at center-back. Rodon's injury also affects the Wales national team, which has upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.
