Joe Rogan Warns Conor McGregor About Aging in MMA
As UFC 329 approaches, Conor McGregor is recovering from surgery and sharing positive updates about his health. However, Joe Rogan has expressed concerns about McGregor's ability to regain his prime performance, citing the physical toll of aging on fighters.
During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan highlighted that elite athletes, like Mike Tyson, cannot sustain peak performance indefinitely. He noted that while fighters may appear fit, they often deal with underlying injuries that affect their capabilities.
McGregor recently suffered a significant injury during a fight against Max Holloway, which ended quickly due to a knee issue. Rogan emphasized that McGregor's body has changed over the years, making it difficult for him to perform at the same level as he did in his earlier career. He also mentioned Jon Jones as an exception, praising his longevity in the sport despite the common challenges faced by aging fighters.
