Joey Logano Reflects on Pressure and Chase Comparisons

Joey Logano has secured his place in the Chase by finishing ninth in the standings, marking a significant comeback after previously dropping to 20th following a disappointing performance at Sonoma in June.

Since winning at North Wilkesboro, which ended a 45-race winless streak, Logano has been climbing the standings, recently winning at Richmond and closing the gap to leader Denny Hamlin to 65 points after the Chase points reset.

Logano, who is 36 years old, expressed his belief that pressure is essential for achieving meaningful accomplishments, stating that he prefers to be active rather than complacent. As the Chase begins at Darlington, he acknowledges the changes in the format since the last time he participated in 2013, noting that the current points system differs significantly from the past.
