Joey Logano Reflects on Upside Down Crash at Talladega
At Talladega Superspeedway, Joey Logano experienced a frightening moment when his car flipped upside down during the YellaWood 500, leaving him waiting for NASCAR crews to right his vehicle.
Logano, who was involved in a collision that sent him into the wall, reported that he was unharmed after the incident. Another driver, Riley Herbst, also crashed but appeared to be fine as he left the medical center with a wrist injury.
After the crash, Logano praised the NASCAR medical team and expressed gratitude for his safety, despite concerns about fuel leaking from his car. He noted that communication with his team was hindered due to a damaged radio antenna. Logano reflected on the unpredictability of racing, acknowledging the risks involved while looking forward to the next race at Martinsville.
