John Cena Confirms Retirement from Wrestling Competitions

John Cena has announced that he will not return to the wrestling ring as a competitor after his retirement from WWE in December 2025.

Reports indicate that Cena's participation in another wrestling promotion was never considered feasible post-retirement, as he previously described it as financially unwise. Following his retirement, Cena entered into a five-year ambassadorial agreement with WWE, which prohibits him from competing elsewhere.

In addition to his ambassadorial role, Cena hosted WrestleMania 42 and made an appearance at Backlash to promote the upcoming John Cena Classic. This event, set for December, will feature talents from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, with fans voting for the winner. The timing of the John Cena Classic is still subject to change.
