Jonas Schomburg Prepares for IRONMAN World Championship in Nice

As the IRONMAN World Championship approaches in Nice in 2025, Jonas Schomburg from Germany is being recognized as a strong contender. Kristian Blummenfelt previously highlighted Schomburg as a potential surprise performer, and he proved this by finishing sixth in his debut season of IRONMAN racing.

In the past year, Schomburg has significantly improved his performance, achieving a fourth-place finish at the 2025 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, winning at Challenge Sir Bani-Yas, and securing second place at 70.3 Oceanside. He also finished fifth at Challenge Roth and claimed his first full-distance victory at IRONMAN Kalmar with a time of 7:22:57.

For the upcoming race, Schomburg will be using his Canyon Speedmax CFR and Shimano's new Dura-Ace wheels, aiming to surpass his previous year's performance and reach the podium.
