Jonathan Kuminga Signs Two-Year Contract with Timberwolves
Free agent forward Jonathan Kuminga has reached an agreement to sign a two-year contract worth $13 million with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as confirmed by his agent Aaron Turner.
The contract includes a player option for the second year. Kuminga was sought after by several teams, including the Lakers, Bulls, and Trail Blazers, but chose the Timberwolves for the opportunity to test the market again next summer.
In addition to a starting role at power forward, Minnesota has been actively recruiting Kuminga, with significant involvement from players and team executives. However, the Timberwolves must make financial adjustments to accommodate Kuminga's salary before finalizing the contract.
