Jonathan Kuminga Signs Two-Year Deal with Timberwolves
Jonathan Kuminga has signed a two-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as confirmed by team sources. The deal, valued at $12 million, includes a player option for the second year.
Previously, Kuminga played for the Atlanta Hawks after being traded from the Golden State Warriors. He participated in 16 regular-season games with the Hawks, averaging 12.1 points per game, and contributed significantly during the playoffs.
Before joining the Timberwolves, Kuminga was linked to the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers, but those discussions did not progress. His time with the Warriors included winning an NBA championship, although he faced challenges with playing time.
