Jonathan Taylor Secures Contract Extension with Colts
Jonathan Taylor has signed a two-year contract extension worth $44 million with the Indianapolis Colts following a successful 2025 season where he rushed for 1,585 yards and scored 18 touchdowns.
This extension comes shortly after Bijan Robinson's three-year, $75 million contract, marking a significant moment in the running back market. Taylor, a six-year veteran and the 2021 rushing champion, previously missed the first four games of the 2023 season while negotiating his three-year, $42 million deal.
With this new contract, the Colts can move forward into the 2026 season without concerns about Taylor's availability or contract disputes, as he is among only 18 players to have rushed for 1,500 yards in a single season multiple times.
