Jonathon Cooper Returns to Practice After Exempt List

Jonathon Cooper, an outside linebacker for the Broncos, returned to practice on Wednesday following a six-week period on the Commissioner's Exempt List.

This leave was a result of two arrests in June related to domestic violence charges. Cooper is scheduled for a trial on March 2, facing five charges stemming from incidents involving his ex-girlfriend.

While Cooper did not provide specific details about his case, he acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and expressed accountability for his actions. The NFL has indicated that further disciplinary measures may be considered after the legal proceedings conclude.
