
Jonny Moseley Appointed General Manager of XC Golden State for X Games League
Jonny Moseley has been appointed as the general manager of XC Golden State, a new team in the X Games League, for the upcoming winter season. The league recently announced the addition of XC Golden State, which will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Moseley, a 1998 Olympic gold medalist and a prominent figure in freeskiing, expressed his connection to the region, noting its significance in his skiing journey. He is recognized for being the first athlete to earn medals at both the X Games and the Olympics, enhancing the credibility of the X Games.
Alongside Moseley, three other general managers have been appointed for the winter season, including Dave Sypniewski for XC New York, Sharalee Hazen for XC Park City, and Ryan Stutt for XC Whistler. Each GM will focus on assembling their athlete rosters ahead of the draft scheduled for September, with the inaugural XGL Winter Season set to commence in January 2027 in Aspen, Colorado.
